Pre & Post Show Parties
Once again, we’ll be hosting parties Friday night before the show, and Saturday night after the show. There will be bands, food, drinks, and hot rods. You WILL have a good time!
We’ll be at the same venue again this year:
The Red Cent.
823 Liberty Street in Morris
It’s at the North end of Liberty Street, near the railroad tracks.
This is where it gets good.
They have a HUGE outdoor beer garden, the size of an entire lot. The stage with the bands will be out in the beer garden. We are renting additional tables and chairs, along with heaters so no one complains about the fresh, crisp air. It provides a great view of all the cars on the street, and still see the bands, and jaw with your pals. Also, this means that inside you will be able to talk without having to yell over the bands.
There will be a minimum of 2 bartenders at the full bar inside, along with supplemental beer bars set up outside. The bar is renting additional portapotties to help with lines.
There will be a $5 cover each night. We are providing wristbands to facilitate in/out privileges. You will need a wristband for the both the beer garden and inside.
We know that food service every year is a challenge. The folks at the Red Cent have planned a special buffet for the show. The buffet will be open each night from 6 PM – 9 PM for $10. The food there is very good, and will be the same both nights. There won’t be any table service that night. It’s just the buffet.

There is ample street parking in the area. You can probably use the parking lots of the local businesses (there is a lumber yard across the street) so long as the car is gone that night. Do not block the alleys. Please respect the local businesses and pick up your trash and don’t leave butts on the ground. Also, as in the past, there is to be NO alcohol on the streets. This was a big problem last year and the police will be cracking down and writing tickets by the bar and the hotels, so just come down and hang out at the Red Cent bar!
See you there!
